i love working with children. I have worked in many different programs: worked as a supported child care assistant, preschool, supervised afterschool program, montessori preschool, a infant/toddler and 3-5 program on a reserve, and a headstart fullday program

Re: how long?
Tue, May 24, 2005 - 9:31 AMLiterally 35 years. I began babysitting when I was 12 and even before the Ex and I started our family, we started a casual after school program in our apartment building for children of working parents when we were in the Air Force and worked graveyards, thus we were home during the afternoons. I worked both as a child care worker as well as a child rights activist, sometimes working in a field not associated with children, but spending my off time as a volunteer, later to return and work (meaning getting paid) in these areas. I only became a nanny a little over a year ago at the age of 46. :) -

Re: how long?
Tue, May 24, 2005 - 6:58 PMAlmost 10 years including babysitting. I love kids. I am not sure if this si going to make me want my own or just keep taking care of others peoples. It is so natural to me to want to care for children.
